...And the Winner is...

I am pleased to announce that the winner of the 1st Caption Contest for the League of Disgruntled Majors is MajMike for his entry:

--"never send a CPT to pinch a heinie when the MAJ wants to do it himself.."

While it did not specifically speak to disgruntlement, He got extra points for using the word "heinie" in his entry.

For a prize, he gets absolutely nothing but bragging rights. He can collect anytime.

I tried to drum up business for the contest, but I'll obviously have to work at the whole visitor thing a bit more ;-)

Safe travels as you redeploy, look for you on the near side.

Well, after seeing our website on the LDM suggested reading list, I am really starting to wonder now. Who is the Grand Poobah? No worries though, he / she (standard govt warning on use of gender in a document applies here) could be anyone one of the 100's no... 1000's of Majors I have crossed paths (and horns on occasion) over the last 20 years. Glad to see you folks have not lost your edge, and that you also recognised fine reading when you locate it. (www.seayeti.com)
I may not be a major, but those of you who know the website and the by-line on this message know I am what happens to a fine warrior pilot when the staff gets you. More accurate with a 1 line bullet than a 70mm FFAR. It is refreshing to see the traditions have not changed. Carry your standard high and proud you renegade Members of the LDM! Meanwhile I think I will have another Rum and Coke while I watch the sun chase off to the West!

Oh, could on of your guys or gals please spell check this for me!

I thought it was very, very good but it has a "major" flaw. The start of the clip is wrong. As everyone well knows...
